Did you try a different EXTDSP mode?

When I go to options, I don't get any options to change the EXTDSP mode. It just says "EXTDSP Mode: [N/A]"

How do I change it?

Switch to LoadExec mode first.

OP, are you using a proper CU2 sheet?
"Because we don't know when we will die, we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well. Yet everything happens only a certain number of times, and a very small number really. How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, an afternoon that is so deeply a part of your being that you can't even conceive of your life without it? Perhaps four, five times more, perhaps not even that."

It's working for me if you downloaded the game.
with several bin files you will have to convert with PSIO Systems Console in the option: file, multibinary image merge or by pressing ctrl+b and selecting the folder where the files are located it will merge all the binaries in a single file and also the CU2 in another folder just copy them to the card and run, I hope I helped...
