"WipEout 2097" and " WipEout XL" still do. They are doing something with the SPU which we need to figure out. The game still plays and works fine however so it's not serious/urgent. It only happens on the "Press Start" screen and in the audio options when you hover on the volume sliders :)

Interesting discussion. Thanks for the replies, everyone. Game I am using is an NTSC REDUMP. Not sure how some are able to get passed the character selection screen. Excited to see how this all moves forward. I'm learning a lot from these conversations.

It freezes with LoadExec. Use Midboot.
Because we don't know when we will die, we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well. Yet everything happens only a certain number of times, and a very small number really. How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, an afternoon that is so deeply a part of your being that you can't even conceive of your life without it? Perhaps four, five times more, perhaps not even that.
