Solarized Dark cascading style sheet for CybDyn forums
Since I don't like staring at bright white screens I have created this CSS file to have this forum appear more like "Solarized Dark". It's faaaar from perfect, but it lessens the eyestrain in those long PSIO forum discussion nights. ;-)
You might need something like Stylus or so to apply it to the website, depending on your browser. Also I only tested it with Firefox because that's what I'm using and I don't like Chrome/-ium. ;-)
Feel free to tune it to your liking or optimize it further. Or make something entirely new.
PS: sorry, had to 7zip it because the forum doesn't accept css files directly.

I'll have to see if I can create a dark theme for the forums, but it might be a bit tricky.

Just had a look at this now. It's... pretty ugly. I'll work on something much better.

It's very 2002. Some people might appreciate the retro style.

I suggest #15202b as the background color, and solid white text, not some gray nonsense.

How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, an afternoon that is so deeply a part of your being that you can't even conceive of your life without it? Perhaps four, five times more, perhaps not even that."

It's based on the Solarized color scheme, which is optimized for being easy on the eyes. I personally like it a lot in general and use it somewhat heavily on the terminal and a few other programs.
The stylesheet I "created" for the forum, however, is a quick and dirty hack and it sure does show. ;-)

Pure dark with solid white text is very tiring for the eyes.
Try it with #15202b as the background color.

To enable it, go to the User Control Panel, Board Preferences and then under Edit Global Settings change the board style to "SE Square Left Dark".
If you're on a mobile phone or tablet then you can just lower your screen brightness and the solid black theme isn't that bad. I'll make another theme which is a bright brighter than solid black soon so it's not super aggressive on the eyes

Re: Solarized Dark cascading style sheet for CybDyn forums
That would be great because the pure black background is an eye killer, especially on big screens.
#15202b as the background color is a great compromise between dark aesthetics and readability.

I use a plugin called Dark Reader with Firefox. If you care about your eyes getting tired you should try it.

Well, while there is no decent analogue, it looks quite good. Not perfect, but at least something!
