Woo thanks all!

Curious why the art is 80x84 when the normal art for PSX covers are not this ratio? (therefore using batch scripts to convert existing art is going to give you oblong stretched art)

I guess it doesn't really matter though since they're being shrunk down so much it's going to be distorted anyway - was just curious :)

It was to compensate for the PAL and NTSC screen height differences.

Saw you missed an alt cover, the pre-9/11 Syphon Filter 3 art. Much better looking than some head shots.

edit: I told myself that an aspect ratio inaccuracy of 4 pixels wasn't going to bug me, but...

Thanks to everyone who contributed and in particular to chrisvg for the almost complete collection!

Does anyone know of a trick/software that would automate the process of creating a folder and moving each single .bmp file to it? I'm working on putting together a rather large game list from the Redump sets, and I already have each game file sorted into its own folder as required by the PSIO, so it would be really hard to drop each .bmp file into its corresponding folder manually.

If there could be a batch process that would create folders named after the Redump sets and move each .bmp file to it, then it would just be a matter of merging the folders on the SD card!

I found that a lot of covers had bad gamma, black level, or borders, so I created new ones for every game in my short list (about 100 games - what I could fit on 64Gig) using the best scans or ebay auction photos for ones I didn't have proper covers to scan myself. I then tightly cropped them, corrected the white and black points, gamma, increased sharpness and saturation as I saw fit. I disregarded the fact that the original covers don't fit perfectly into 80x84 if aspect is taken into consideration so they all fill the space allotted - no black bars on the top and bottom.

Very cool, thanks a lot for those! They look great. As I've been slowing ripping my PSX games I found a couple that didn't have covers in this thread so I made them myself. So here are Hakaioh King of Crusher and Harmful Park for your viewing pleasure. :)

Thank you for that.
Just wanted to report that there are only NA covers for Final Fantasy Anthology (FFA in NA has FFV and FFVI, it doesn't contain FFIV), there are no PAL FFA covers (in PAL regions, FFA contains FFIV and FFV, it doesn't contain FFVI). Also, there is no Final Fantasy VI PAL cover (in PAL regions, FFVI was released as a stand alone game, it was not part of a 'bundle').

Hello everyone. I wasn't happy with any one cover pack I've found, so I made my own.

NTSC U PSIO ready.zip

A complete set for all 1,287 NTSC U/C games. I tried to be as accurate to retail as possible, so only official retail covers are used. To get the best fit in the PSIO menu, all games are standard size black jewel case covers where applicable. There are two exceptions to this. One exception is long box only releases. I did no editing/resizing of these covers, as some other packs have done. These include:

* 3D Lemmings
* A-Train - Trains, Power, Money
* Assault Rigs
* Bases Loaded '96 - Double Header
* Bottom of the 9th
* BrainDead 13
* College Slam
* Criticom
* CyberSled
* CyberSpeed
* Defcon 5 - Peace Has a Price
* Descent
* Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball
* Goal Storm
* HardBall 5
* Jupiter Strike
* Kileak - The DNA Imperative
* Krazy Ivan
* NBA in the Zone
* NBA Jam - Tournament Edition
* Novastorm
* Philosoma
* Power Serve 3D Tennis
* Primal Rage
* Psychic Detective
* The Raiden Project
* Return Fire
* Revolution X - Music Is the Weapon
* Rise 2 - Resurrection
* Shockwave Assault
* Silverload
* Space Griffon VF-9
* Starblade Alpha
* Street Fighter - The Movie
* Striker 96
* Terry Pratchett's Discworld
* V-Tennis
* Viewpoint
* VR Soccer '96
* X-COM - UFO Defense
* Zoop - America's Largest Killer of Time!
* Zero Divide

The other exception is Greatest Hits only titles. If it only came in Greatest Hits form, I kept it as such. No editing a black border on the left side as some have done. Games that fall into that category are:

* 1Xtreme (The re-release of ESPN Extreme Games without the branding.)
* Jet Moto 2 - Championship Edition (This cover is an exception to the retail rule. It was never actually used. The retail release makes no distinction from standard Jet Moto 2.)
* The Lost World - Jurassic Park - Special Edition
* Resident Evil - Director's Cut - Dual Shock Ver
* WWF WrestleMania - The Arcade Game (This one was originally a long box release too, but it never got a standard black cover release, so I went with the GH cover as it fits better in the PSIO menu.)

And I threw in a few bonus misc covers for imports/hacks/unreleased games as well:

* Akumajou Dracula X - Gekka no Yasoukyoku (Translated)
* Dragon Ball Z - Idainaru Dragon Ball Densetsu (Japan)
* Metal Gear Solid - Integral (Japan)
* Mortal Kombat II (Japan)
* Pepsiman (Japan)
* Policenauts (Translated)
* Resident Evil - Survivor (Light Gun Support)
* Resident Evil 2 (Unreleased)
* Superman (Unreleased)
* Tales of Phantasia (Translated)
* Thrill Kill (Unreleased)
* Virtual Pro-Wrestling (Japan)

If by any chance I used an incorrect or non-retail cover, please feel free to let me know (and if possible, provide me the correct one). I hope someone else will get some use out of these. Enjoy!

Added some NTSC-J cover arts. They're not perfect by any means but they do for me.

Got my PSIO in the post yesterday, so have spent a hungover Sunday sorting out my backups and doing some quick and dirty cover arts - mostly NTSC-J but a few PAL and one NTSC-U. These are by no means perfect but thought I'd share them anyway.

I found a Powershell script that moves files based on their name to matching folders; works nicely and very useful for images named with the Redump names to corresponding folders: https://www.reddit.com/r/PowerShell/com ... dium=web2x

Could also be used with Syntax's CU2 packs I'm assuming as well.

There you go. They're seam carved, so not exactly 1:1, but less distorted. Sort of.
