Re: Inuyasha - A Feudal Fairy Tale (Menu System 2.6.28)

Bug confirmed. That's a rather strange bug too. We'll check it out later on.

I'll give it a quick test to ensure it's fixed :)

Even if he boots a CD? Doesn't that bypass PSIO?
If you boot a CD-R, yes. The anti-mod will kick in.

Re: Spyro 3 PAL Libcrypt\100% Crack fix.

The game won't trigger anti-mod on PSIO since we emulate the HC05 core extremely well now. On systems that have an X-Station with a modchip it will though.

Re: Spyro 3 PAL Libcrypt\100% Crack fix.

If we get SBI (subchannel) support working in PSIO later on then LibCrypt won't be a problem anymore anyway :)

Re: PSIO Development Discussion Thread

I was just thinking will we be able to use virtual memory cards yet or no? You can copy to and from the PSIO SD Card in the Memory Card Manager. Virtual Memory Card will be handled by the MemCard Pro as it automatically selects your game for you and loads the appropriate card as needed. I'm just fi...

Does it mean you've fixed Crisis Beat with the new debugger?
When it's fixed, you'll know.

Re: PSIO Development Discussion Thread

Figured it out. It was a problem on our end in the assembly code. I overlooked one of the bytes which was sending the string length (it was fixed as 0x14 which is the length for all Sony title PS-EXE boot strings in the CNF :?). Thanks to the MemCard Pro team for painfully working with me to resolv...

Re: PSIO Development Discussion Thread

The functionality works. I'm having trouble getting the logo to display but it's not a big deal anyway. I meant getting the PSIO logo in the Memcard Pro fw. So you're trying to get the Memcard Pro logo into the PSIO fw now? Please don't let that delay the release further :) I spent quite a bit of t...

Re: PSIO Development Discussion Thread

You can't compare PSIO to X-Station or MiSTer. They are all completely different in how they operate. MiSTer is a hardware emulator. It will run quite a few games, but the majority of them will have a lot of issues because you're not just now emulating the CD-ROM subsystem. You are now emulating eve...

Re: Official DCIO News and Development Thread

We haven't touched anything to do with DCIO since my last post. It's still a project we want to potentially look into again at some stage however.

No, it's not possible to do that yet. That feature will be added soon.

Re: PSIO Development Discussion Thread

The new security is almost finished. It needs the website download code which we're working on :) PSIO does support the MemCard Pro, but not in the latest public release as the firmware hasn't been released (because of the security we're working on). It's good to know they finally added the PSIO log...

Re: What is the biggest SD size supported and do i need something specific to transfer files

That's great, but it's still cumbersome to copy all PS1 games ever made to an SD card. How will the search engine of PSIO's Menu System react to such a big pack? The searching should be instant because it too will search the cached list. So technically even one of those 1tb sd would be good? Only i...
