Re: Intermittent "Insert SD Card" and occasional freezes

Hmm. It sounds then like you have a faulty SD Card slot in your PSIO Cartridge. You'll have to tell Stone Age Gamer about the problem and return it to them for a replacement :)

They will then send the faulty unit to us and we'll send them a replacement as per the wholesale agreement between us.

Re: Intermittent "Insert SD Card" and occasional freezes

Where does it say that. In the Menu System with error code 80000001 or in a game you're playing?

Re: Game freezes

I will test this now with the current firmware, and then try it with our new unreleased firmware which we've been working (IE: ARM V2.6.2). I'm using "Resident Evil 2 - DUALSHOCK Version [NTSC-U/C]". *EDIT* Okay, I'm using the current public firmware and the first issue is I see it locked up at a do...

Re: Remember position on the list

I like the option to have this features, but I think there should also be an option to turn off this features in case the user doesn't want them. Yeah, we can do that. We'll have to keep a token about the SD Card status however because we'll need to detect if the files on the SD have changed or not...

Apart from the paint, it actually looks nice.
Yeah I'll definitely fix it up and finish it off at some point so it looks polished. The LCD needs a better LED mod since it's way too dim at the moment and it needs an RGB mod done because at the moment it's using composite.

It finally updated.

11 days to get from Winmalee to Sydney.

That's an average of 10km a day, DHL must be slow walking it :D
Ah, that would be because of the Easter holidays.

Re: Resident Evil 3 ntsc dialogue sound disappears reappears with long loading

RE3 used to work fine so it's something in the new logic which has caused it to happen. We're looking into it... It'll be a bit scary to upgrade to the next firmware knowing that a new logic that fixes stuff may also break games that worked before. I'd like to request that you guys start making ava...

Re: One PS-IO cartridge on multiple PS1 == bricked ?

The old version is still available as a download which you can use. The reason for this is that some customers had really old FPGA firmware and they couldn't take advantage of the auto-update feature in the latest Menu System so they first had to manually update their FPGA firmware (and ARM firmware...

Re: One PS-IO cartridge on multiple PS1 == bricked ?

If that's not it, then it's either the Switch Board or the firmware has become corrupted in which case you need to make sure you're using RECOVERY.BIN from an SD Card formatted as FAT32. Also be sure to try using the FPGA firmware file too in case that has become corrupted.

Re: One PS-IO cartridge on multiple PS1 == bricked ?

Sounds like an SD Card issue or the parallel port isn't making a good connection.

Re: Order #5652

I received the tracking number on March 28. After two weeks without updated information on this tracking number, I then contacted customer service on April 16. I didn't receive an email response. I did receive an email from DHL indicating that the tracking was initiated on April 17. It's almost bee...

It takes DHL a few days to update it, especially now during the easter holidays, but don't worry it'll update and provide the required tracking information soon :)
