Thanks for your interest, it's from a dtl-h1100... the only debugging station with external psu.

Re: Strange Colored line on screen

The mod is for the DAC audio chip.. don't think that it could be related.. but I don't know. The external psu is from another ps1 model directly... do you think that it could be the problem?
I will try to move things a little as you suggest, thanks! :)

Re: Strange Colored line on screen

Thank you all... crt is not the problem at all... probably the GPU is going bad as someone said and unfortunately I don't know how to fix it... I'm quite good in soldering but in any case can't find what the problem is. Such a pity.
Thanks again.

Re: Strange issue with PSIO when using Brook PS3/PS4 to PS2 controller converter

I just pulled my playstation 2 multitap out of a drawer... it has two connectors: one goes into memory port and the other into controller port while ps1 multitap goes only in controller port... if I'm not wrong brook converter was created thinking about ps2 so I think that cause of this difference i...

Re: Bios/Load from CD not working

Could it be a bad installation of the switch board?
A cable may have come off or something like that...maybe you should take a look.

I'm forced to play through SD unfortunately. I just could not get past the loading screen in none of my tests. :(

Re: Strange issue with PSIO when using Brook PS3/PS4 to PS2 controller converter

Good news about the memory card issue, thanks for following up. I can make a report to Brook about the Multitap problem, but I’d like to test it myself first, which I’ll be able to do sometime early next week. Great, it could be a problem caused by my multitap but I sincerely doubt it cause it has ...

Re: Strange issue with PSIO when using Brook PS3/PS4 to PS2 controller converter

I'm happy to report that the issue appears to be with my memory card and not the converter. The one I was using was third-party, however I've just picked up an official Sony memory card and it is working fine so far. I'll report back if there are any issues after a bit more use but things are looki...

Re: Strange issue with PSIO when using Brook PS3/PS4 to PS2 controller converter

I can do this... have four different ps1 fat and two slim  I will try soon and update. EDIT: I have tried with three different ps1: 1) PAL fat ps1, no problem with memory cards at all but same problem with multitap+brook 2) NTSC J fat ps1, no problem with memory cards at all but same problem w...

Re: Strange issue with PSIO when using Brook PS3/PS4 to PS2 controller converter

The converter must send a start+select combination looking for a controller and this makes PSIO reset but not every time, cause yesterday, I forgot to power on my controller and PSIO starts normally (probably cause I had an original dualshock 2 plugged into port 2). :shrug In my case memory "disappe...

Re: Strange issue with PSIO when using Brook PS3/PS4 to PS2 controller converter

Not PSIO related, but another issue I have found with the converter is that my PS1 has a hard time reading and writing to the memory card when the converter is also being used but can be read fine when a normal controller is connected. Thanks for the heads up, I bought one of these adapters too whi...

Re: Force 60hz when booting a PAL game from PSIO Menu

Cela devrait être possible, mais d'abord ils doivent ajouter la possibilité d'écrire sur le SD
parce que la PSIO ne peut pas encore le faire.
De toute façon il serait préférable d'écrire en anglais sur le forum mon ami. In english please

Re: Strange issue with PSIO when using Brook PS3/PS4 to PS2 controller converter

Not yet...no problem at all with saves but I have tested this for a short time... maybe it will give me the same problem in the future as for the reset thing, everything was perfect till today (more or less three days). I will keep you updated! :D

Re: Strange issue with PSIO when using Brook PS3/PS4 to PS2 controller converter

I have just bought the same converter.. no problems here, everything works as usual (with an official dualshock 3). :shrug :) EDIT: Same problem now... it must be something that goes wrong on converter side, I have noticed that if I turn on dualshock 3 as soon as power on ps1 everything goes well......

Re: Loading a PAL to NTSC disc before a game

I use NTSC version too but I would like to play some game in my language. I'm italian and unfortunately there aren't lot of patches for italian versions on consolecopyworld... I wonder if it is so difficult to try to modify a game by myself... oh well I will continue to use ntsc games and maybe one ...

Re: Loading a PAL to NTSC disc before a game

I don't know where to find 60hz patch... :shrug I have tried pal4u and zapper2k but they completely broke my y position and game doesn't look in 60hz at all. Pal/ntsc selector are difficult to find too...
