Re: Patched Policenaughts black screen

I didn't test it on PSIO yet, but the fan-translated version of Policenauts works perfectly from disc on real hardware.

I think something is wrong with your copy, though. The game should at least boot.

Re: [Menu System V2.6.10] Bug Reports

2. Response time for input while the video is playing is ridiculously short, or I'm getting too slow in my old age. The game is made like that. It has nothing to do with PSIO. Keep in mind this was made for CRT screens where there's no input lag at all. If you're using an upscaler on a modern TV, t...

Re: Time Gal Game Over Freeze

I finally had the time to check this game for myself and I confirm your report.

Even with a perfect RIP, it freezes after losing all lives.

Re: [Menu System V2.6.10] Bug Reports

@Zack__1987: Quake 2 (USA) boots and plays fine, so there must be something wrong on your side. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (USA) does indeed freeze during stage selection. It's not "sometimes". It's always. Each time you enter the stage selection menu, the game freezes after about 5 seconds. No mode h...

Re: Assault Rigs

Assault Rigs is a multi-bin game, so I'm not even going to check since we know multi-bin games will need the new update.

We have to wait for it a bit, though. Driver is being analysed right now and it seems like a big problem.

No, I have everything as it should!
I use the OSSC which also tells me that I am 59,27Hz so it's weird all that!
Your OSSC might not be configured correctly for HD/UHD. Ask @FBX about OSSC issues.

You might also have an issue of some sort with that crystal mod of yours. Just try a mint PS1.

Re: Issues with several games

You need REDUMP-compatible disc images.

Some PAL games (like FFVIII) need LibCrypt patches.

Read the manual before using PSIO.

Re: [Menu System V2.6.10] Bug Reports

I assure you that no, I have three gran tursimo 2 arcade, the 1.0v usa, the 1.1v usa and the 1.0v eu.Le euro when it turns normally without slowing but is in 50hz, while the others are in 60hz and slow down on a lot of place as specified before! And that's just what I do not understand, my .bin are...

Re: [Menu System V2.6.10] Bug Reports

sosafire, make a screenshot of the properties of your Gran Turismo 2 .bin image. Show us the size and MD5 if you can.

You shouldn't be using coolroms, BTW.

Re: [Menu System V2.6.10] Bug Reports

Why are you playing NTSC games on a PAL console? Why not? There's no difference in nearly all games. His problem is not the console. He must be using a PAL version on his PSIO and an NTSC version on his disc. I've been playing Gran Turismo 2 lately and there are no slowdown issues with it. The 9 se...

Try disabling Fastboot.

Try Midboot and all of the K1V modes.

Re: [Menu System V2.6.10] Bug Reports

So my PAL console would have faults on Gran Turismo 2 ntsc us? (and I reconfirm I have 9 seconds of difference with a timer on a lap 1 ...) I'm frustrated to see that ... You told me that there was only 0.01% difference compared to a US console that uses ntsc us!So to have the same sensations as yo...

The firmware sent by the seller is likely the genuine, but it’s outdated so my cart can’t use it, which is why I’m waiting to get the info so I can get the latest version.
They've screwed you over. They are selling commie fakes and that's why there is no legitimate registration data.

Re: Menu system and firmware hate each other?

I just meant I wonder why the system is the way it is. Even on the financial side of things, if it’s a real genuine cart in circulation, then CybDyn has already made a profit off of it, because all genuine carts have to have originally come from them, right? It’s not like it was stolen and CybDyn n...

Re: Menu system and firmware hate each other?

That’s what I was afraid of... Someone could scam people to death with these things if they wanted to. All it would take is reselling one on eBay or somewhere and “forgetting” to include the serial information, and then you’ve essentially sent someone a $150 paperweight. Why do they do the firmware...

Re: Menu system and firmware hate each other?

If the non-legit firmware type message appears with the Reddit download that is because it's a cart mismatch (security feature). So I’m basically at the mercy of the seller to send me the information I need now, at this point. I find it odd, though, that they opted to send me the firmware via email...

Re: [Menu System V2.6.10] Bug Reports

Watch all the videos that circulate on the original game and you will see that it there is a problem anyway, I hold my position to say that, do a test with your game on the psio and put a timer on the way, you will see that in one turn only you will have lost at least 10 seconds compared to the gam...

Re: [Menu System V2.6.10] Bug Reports

So, there is still something I wanted to go back to, it's gran turismo 2, the game has a frame problem, I can not say that the game runs like a clock ... it would be lying and lying to me at the same time! The differences are still glaring when you compared it to a game cd ... The sync of psio is i...

Re: [Menu System V2.6.10] Bug Reports

IMO, if Driver is a unique case like Jackie Chan, it may be better to temporarily place it in the back burner and focus on more urgent bugs that are affecting multiple or all games (like the frames issue). IMO, that's a terrible approach. You can't set aside issues arbitrarily because they might af...

Re: [Menu System V2.6.10] Bug Reports

Perhaps the problem is not there on other versions or less noticeable. Tomb Raider 1.1 NTSC-US doesn't have the problem. "We-" is perfectly audible. There is a click at the start, but I checked this from the retail disc and it was actually the same. With that being said, the ATV support isn't full ...
