Re: Mega CD

One thing at a time :P. Get the DCIO finished first and if there's enough interest when that project is done, go for the Mega CD IO :P. I think it would be a pretty cool project, especially considering how old the Mega/Sega CD is and the fact that most of the units by now are going to have failing l...

Re: Minutes became years

This are currently being made by hand (except for the PCB's themselves. Mass production is coming eventually. For more specifics, I'd wait for Matt or Cybdyn to chime in. If you already ordered one, they should be able to give you a status update as well

Re: Fragmentation problems?

If I remember correctly from reading other threads here (I don't own a PSIO as my psx doesn't have a parallel port), SOTN is a problematic game for the PSIO. You'd have to play it off a disc until there's an update that fixes compatibility with this game.

Re: Question regarding Bust A Groove sync issues

That should work fine as long as you patch your iso to pal (if that's what your TV can handle) or use a boot disc to patch it on-the-fly. I've never had a problem play pal psx or ps2 games this way in my NTSC consoles (I'm in the states). It shouldworkboth ways

Re: Rockman X3 Compatibility

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think a cu2 file is the same idea as a .cue where it can be created in notepad. Open up notepad to a brand new file, use the above code as a template, then make whatever changes needed (length of each track and number of tracks) then hit save as. Here's where you have ...

Re: PSIO locking up and no longer booting

Visually it looks like your connections are solid (doesn't appear to have any bridges or, splashes or cold solder joints from what I can see in your picture). I've yet to install one of these switchboard's myself so I don't know if its hooked up correctly. Have you tried removing the switch board en...

Re: Finally ordered my PSIO !

Its a very tedious process as they have to build them by hand :P. Its not worth it to pay for mass production this is a very niche market for hobbyists only :P
