From what I tested here the Grid Session version PAL the music works normally in NTSC and PAL console. The Grid Session version NTSC music does not work on the PAL console, it only works normally on the NTSC console. It probably must be because of the protection Matt mentioned. The bin crc32 is 3065DFAE. Xmen keeps freezing randomly while loading, and sometimes goes without audio from the .cdda tracks, even with cu2 you posted. This happened with Thunder Force V and Xmen children of atom.
In FW 2.6.8 and earlier this did not happen.

Street Fighter Alpha 3 remains the same. The sound of the song at the end of the last round does not go down when the fight is over.
Was this issue supposed to have been resolved by implementing ATV on the new firmware?

Does 2.6.8 have fewer problems or is it the same as 2.6.9? I am currently on 2.6.8. The loading of Level 1 in this game takes 5-7 seconds from a retail disc, so it's obviously an issue with the current firmware. Some other games have similar issues, like Harmful Park.
