Re: PSIO Development Discussion Thread

I tested two images of Street fighter Alpha (USA) and one of Street Fighter Zero (Jap). In Alpha (USA) it took 28 sec to exit the screen written Street Fighter Alpha and go to the now loading screen. No Zero (Jap) took about 4 seconds to exit the screen written Street Fighter Zero and go to the now...

Yeah, I guessed that tbh. It also takes ~4 seconds for me, BTW. I tested two images of Street fighter Alpha (USA) and one of Street Fighter Zero (Jap). In Alpha (USA) it took 28 sec to exit the screen written Street Fighter Alpha and go to the now loading screen. No Zero (Jap) took about 4 seconds ...

Re: PSIO Development Discussion Thread

Yes, it loads 7-8 seconds from the disc, just like in your video. The new firmware should fix the X-men game. In my video was 28 seconds on the screen written Street Fighter Alpha, then go to screen now loading. After the Capcom logo it, takes 8 seconds to load the "STREET FIGHTER ALPHA" text. That...

Re: PSIO Development Discussion Thread

The bin crc32 is 3065DFAE. Xmen keeps freezing randomly while loading, and sometimes goes without audio from the .cdda tracks, even with cu2 you posted. I didn't notice any audio problems, but I confirm the freezing bug. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfUPXvT40pA https://youtu.be/nfUPXvT40pA Is it ...

Re: PSIO Development Discussion Thread

Xmen clhildren of atom freezes at random loading, sometimes does not freeze and sometimes freezes. Make sure CRC-32 for the .bin is 3065dfae and use the attached CU2. Check with both Midboot and LoadExec. The bin crc32 is 3065DFAE. Xmen keeps freezing randomly while loading, and sometimes goes with...

Re: PSIO Development Discussion Thread

I had forgotten to quote. The thunder force V only runs out of music when the sound is in monaural. Xmen clhildren of atom freezes at random loading, sometimes does not freeze and sometimes freezes. Sometimes there is no audio from games that use .cdda tracks. But the PSIO led is lit as if reading t...

This happened with Thunder Force V and Xmen children of atom.
In FW 2.6.8 and earlier this did not happen.

Re: PSIO Development Discussion Thread

Just checked Destruction Derby 2 NTSC-US. The music during gameplay plays fine. The "CD Audio Player" from the main menu doesn't play any music, even though PSIO lights orange when you press Play. I think it's an ATV issue, especially since the game reacts weirdly when moving the volume sliders. Th...

Re: Street Fighter Alpha 3 - Sound of music at the end of the fight does not lower it cuts the sound straight.

Street Fighter Alpha 3 remains the same. The sound of the song at the end of the last round does not go down when the fight is over.
Was this issue supposed to have been resolved by implementing ATV on the new firmware?

Re: Lost World

That's funny because it used to work on prototype hardware :D It might have worked even as recently as V2.6.8. It seems like one of those games which had gone haywire after the changes in V2.6.9. Would be good if somebody with V2.6.8. could check. It did not work in 2.6.8, the game crashes on the l...

Re: SPAWN - strange BGM Music

Does 2.6.8 have fewer problems or is it the same as 2.6.9? I am currently on 2.6.8. Unless you want to play Blazing Dragons, just stay on V2.6.8 until the CD-ROM logic is fixed in the update which is being worked on right now. I have no interest in Blazing Dragon so I will continue to 2.6.8. Thanks...

Re: SPAWN - strange BGM Music

The loading of Level 1 in this game takes 5-7 seconds from a retail disc, so it's obviously an issue with the current firmware. Some other games have similar issues, like Harmful Park. It's best to wait for now since these issues are general, not game-specific. I've found quite a few games with pro...

Re: How to make the Jackie Chan Stuntmaster Pal get colorful in the Ntsc-j PlayStion?

Thanks guys for the help. I bought a European playstation to play the PAL games. I removed the boad switch from my 5500 and installed it on 5552 and it is working perfectly, and now the PAL games are colored. Text in Portuguese in case the google translation is not understandable and you can use the...

Yes my led has 4 hdmi, but it does not allow changing the ratio to 4: 3. My philips of 2011 does not have this 4: 3 option.

Re: How to make the Jackie Chan Stuntmaster Pal get colorful in the Ntsc-j PlayStion?

You'll need an RGB SCART cable for that, as opposed to a Composite/Composite SCART cable. Is this adapter for converting scart rgb to composite video? https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41WE3iKuMFL._SY355_.jpg My 14 TV only has composite video, but I have a 21 TV with ypbpr component ...

Street Fighter Alpha 3 - Sound of music at the end of the fight does not lower it cuts the sound straight.

Street Fighter Alpha 3 on PSIO by winning a fight against the CPU cuts the sound of the song at the end of the fight, while in the original CD-ROM game the sound of the song goes down doesn't cut straight like in the PSIO. Portuguese text in case the English text is not understandable, and you can u...

Re: Resident Evil 3 ntsc dialogue sound disappears reappears with long loading

No sound in that clip would be an EXTDSP selection issue. Try another mode. Test in all modes, and the intro continues without audio. midboot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-FKVRuu7Ik http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-FKVRuu7Ik K1V4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrObhcNcapU http://www.youtube.co...
