Problem:
The game will start up just fine and I can drive around the HUB world, but when I enter a stage, the game will lock up during the loading.

Also, when Aku Aku is talking to you, his mouth is supposed to open, which it doesn't.

I tried a NTSC iso, where I am able to play the stages, but Aku Aku's mouth still doesn't animate.

Problem:
In story mode Uka Uka's and Aku Aku's mouth don't move when giving hints.
Bosses still seem to animate fine.
Happens in All versions.

If the game locks up, it is because of either a bad rip, LibCrypt or EDC. Use a version without these.

As for Uka Uka's mouth not animating, Naughty Dog seems to have used the XA channel as a relay to detect certain frequencies at which would animate his mouth. PSIO doesn't seem to be monitoring these registers and so we will need to figure out which ones in particular are being ignored.

Update: Uka Uka's mouth doesn't animate because of the same problem to do with Vib Ribbon not working.
