Both doom games work, first two games i always test. You need to have the correct cu2 files otherwise it will not work.

Also, Twisted Metal 2 used to work under the old firmware. I played a single match no probs.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Gauntlet Legends works. It was fixed in ARM 2.3.23. Your list is inaccurate :P

For the last update that was true, i have not gotten to that game again yet on the current firmware. the old lists have to be not counted, i dunno what games changed from working to broken yet only tested a few games so far.

Had to take a break and reinstall windows, found a good workaround to not upgrade to win7 sp1 but that is another topic for another forum.

Rayman(U) has always worked for me. I just updated to the latest firmware and it still works.

Edit:
OMG. Parasite Eve II(U) finally works!

No, it still fails sometimes: http://www.cybdyn-systems.com.au:82/browse/CSGC-32
Thought it seems more stable in USB mode at the moment.

PS: Nice avatar photo of the legendary Card Crusher :P

I've retested it 6 times (first 15-ish minutes of gameplay) but i can't get it to crash on me. I've never used USB mode either. All I notice is that during the street intro it seems like the prerendered environment animates a bit more choppy than I remember it to be, but it might just be normal.

PlayStation Model: SCPH-7500
Game Title: Parasite Eve 2
Region: NTSC-U
FPGA Version: DBF9 11/12/2016
ARM Version: V2.3.23
Menu Version: V1.5.72

Perhaps someone else with the same setup could confirm if it works for them as well?

It is pretty choppy, and it used to run a lot smoother on the ATV FPGA firmware. It's something that the new firmware will fix though :)

Still, it's better than a CD-ROM because I couldn't get it to play smoothly from a disc either. It doesn't even run under NO$PSX, so trying to debug and find what's going on is a pain. That was using the HC05 low level clone and a real HC05 ROM dump. The only emulator that would run Parasite Eve 2 was PSXFin.

Same setup here and can confirm (though it was only my first play through) it gets choppy after the video but didn't freeze on me.

It's random. It does happen though but it's rare.

Hey gang.

Got my PS-IO back in November and finally had some time over the holidays to begin the long, tedious process of testing games. I have a pretty sizeable collection (both legitimate and less so) so I will submit as much as I can as I have the time to. Got through about 75 games already. Here are the ones that are BROKEN thus far. In all cases, the rips are fine (they've been tested on my PC ahead of time).

Setup:

PS Model: SCPH-5501
FPGA Version: DBF9 11/12/2016
ARM Version: 2.3.23
Menu Version: 1.5.72

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Region: NTSC-U
Game: Street Fighter Alpha 2
Issue: Hard lock/black screen at load
Region: NTSC-U
Game: Buster Bros. Collection
Issue: Hard lock after selecting a stage on original Buster Bros. and after selecting 1p/2p on Super BB
Region: NTSC-U
Game: Dance Dance Revolution Konamix
Issue: Hard Lock on Loading Screen before Song List
Region: NTSC-J
Game: Suikogaiden Vol. 1
Issue: Locks up after Episode 1 image
Please be sure to fill out a bug report on the main page so that we may know what games to look at when it comes to testing and firmware debugging. Simply adding on these various titles on sub-forums does not guarantee, if at all, these games will be looked at accordingly. These posts are simply a quick reference. Thanks for your efforts however!!! :D
