What could we be working on here? ;)
SoundScope support? (Play CD audio from images in PS-IO's memory card)
Nope, not yet. What we're working on has to do with the XA logic...

Matt. What exactly is the ATV register support that needs to be implemented and how does it play a part with CDDA tracks. Cheers:)

It basically adds cross-fade support (better left and right channel distinguishing) and proper audio level controlability. So for example, the XA audio will actually 'fade out' in Bust a Groove when you pause it.

This is one feature I've been waiting for since it was announced it needed to be worked on. Looking forward to getting my March Pre-order PSIO before long! A lot of the big issues are said and done now, that's great!!!

Anywhere to see the usual shipment times from Australia to US via DHL? I was part of group 3 preorders. It has been about two weeks now and I have not seen any activity on the tracking history for my DHL number. Should I be worried?

Yes I was wondering the same thing myself. It's been a little over 2 weeks for me as well. I figure the tracking will update when the package hit's state side.

Can I humbly remind everyone of the orange banner above this thread? ;-)

Matt, no hurry of course, but do you have any ETA on the upcoming firmware updates? I'm eager to try my Wipeout 2097; I noticed in the open issues that it's no longer an open issue. ;-)

The firmware release timeframe is now in Yuri's hands since we're waiting on some code to be fixed from his side :)

Excellent! You guys can't be too far from having the firmware from being 200% done as far as features and compatibility are concerned. I'm impressed with how quick the turnaround is increasing between production runs and firmware. Keep it up guys!!!

Yeah- I cannot believe we're pushing 5 years now (from when I signed up initially) from the R&D process to now. It's unreal how time flies.

Hey Matt, If I send you a 5501 OR a 7501 mainboard- would you be able to remove the serial port connector and send it back to me with the serial port connector unnattached? If you don't have the tools to do so I understand- it's for a future project of internally mounting a PSIO. I plan to modify the serial connector, bending the pins straight and mount the PSIO board horizontally. Of course I know that I'll have to jigsaw a section of the aluminum plate off to create a section for the PSIO to fit and also dremel down the black plastic of the serial connector to eliminate it's 90 degree pitch and make it 180 degree. It's just a little project for me to start on the side, something I've been wanting to do forever now.

I'm also going to be ordering that HDMI adapter from Limited Run games. An internally mounted PSIO, and HDMI out would be the perfect setup. Will put that PlayStation Classic to shame- WITH dual-shock support of course!

WOOOO- ELITE NOW (250 posts) :dance
