I have sent you an email, but please be more careful when you ask in the future as the 'News' page clearly shows all relevant information regarding your order. Thanks.dizzydevil wrote: ↑September 5th, 2018, 6:32 pmMatt.

I see I’m not the only one concerned about DHL not updating the tracking. Been 10 days and not even an acceptance scan.
Nothing against Cybdyn; I know DHL eCommerce was probably the only viable option to ensure worldwide shipping would be affordable. But man, DHL is awful. Their own website says tracking information should start showing up 24-48 hours after acceptance.

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread
Can't agree. I don't shop internationally too often, mostly within Germany; DHL is my #1 choice. They can be annoying at times, but any other parcel shipping service in Germany is worse. Except for UPS, who are awesome, but really expensive.
But yeah, no idea how they behave internationally.
Also, even though this might not affect Cybdyn's PSIO shippings, keep in mind that they often are not the only logistics company handling a given certain shipment. For example, I recently ordered something from the US, which initially was handelt by USPS, then DHL. I couldn't even track it; but it arrived within a week, which was awesome!
Anyway, back to the topic.

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread
Lodging packages on their website is a bit off a mess still. It's better than what it used to be, but it's still very cumbersome

Apart from that, their service is generally great

10 days now for me and still all I see is "En route to Distribution Centre". Twice I have contacted DHL and both times I just received the same generic response (see my last post on the previous page here) which is not entirely helpful at all.
I'm not bothered to wait to more, as long as I can track it properly and we all have waited patiently over a year for the June orders to ship, yet I don't like being given a tracking number that doesn't track and then receive generic answers by the shipping company that doesn't help the situation.
EDIT: UPDATE
Just tracked it now and it's finally in the system and is currently in Sydney. It's just very slow to update, yet my only gripe is why DHL kept saying they haven't received it from the Merchant (Matt) when they clearly did at some point during the 10 days of inactivity, unless they were extremely swamped with shipments.

It usually takes them about a week or so to process.

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread
The tracking has updated on mine as well. Says that they picked it up on September 5.
All I’m saying is, if they did that to me I’d be livid. Many customers would likely assume that you lied about when you mailed the package, not that DHL denied having it while they sat on it—unscanned—for a week and a half. But, as I said, I’m sure there weren’t many other options for global shipping.
Sorry for derailing the thread... at least (hopefully) anyone else who was thinking of posting here to ask about the lack of tracking updates will see what’s up.

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread
Well yes, they were posted a few days later because we print the labels and then organise DHL to pick them up, but once DHL has them, as we can see, they take quite some time to process

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread
Come here every so often for development updates and news...all I see are pages of order and shipping posts. Can we at some point get a new thread just for order questions so I can find relevant info on development updates here?
As someone who's had a PSIO for a couple years, wading through order questions is a little tiring.

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread
Thanks, I'll have it shipped off as soon as possible.
Thanks for the feedback! I agree, but it's hard to control. I can't just move new posts. I basically have to spend the time to create a new post, copy their question and then edit who posted the question by manually looking up their username from the database.vitaflo wrote: ↑September 9th, 2018, 2:15 amCome here every so often for development updates and news...all I see are pages of order and shipping posts. So, to avoid that, from now on, any questions NOT relating to PSIO's Development WILL BE DELETED.
If you have a question, make a new post about it in the correct topic. Not here please.
A warning in yellow has been placed at the top of this topic to remind users.
I will also pack up and archive this topic soon and start a new one so we can start fresh.

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread
Work has begun on the debugger for PSIO. There's a reason why it's called the "Ultimate Developers Tool"

======================================
- [Bug Fix] When in search mode, pressing 'Circle' will no longer bring up the 'Load CD' popup dialog.
- [Bug Fix] Wrote new hook logic for the "EXTDSP" which fixes "Need for Speed: High Stakes" from crashing (fixes JIRA issue CSGC-89).
This new hook logic also addresses problems with "DEMO 1" not working and "Ore No Ryouri" no longer requires "K1V1" mode.
- [Bug Fix] The 'System Loader' has been updated to V1.3. This update adds the option to enable the CD-ROM (which some users wanted so they could listen to CD-DA music discs).
- [Improvement] Renamed from "XA/CDDA Mode" in the 'Options Menu' to "EXTDSP Mode" which is abbreviated for "External Digital Sound Processor".
- [Improvement] When either 'Fastboot' or the 'System Loader' are being updated, a warning message saying "Do not turn off your PlayStation" is now displayed.
