Hi. Yes, you simply login to your account by going to 'Support' and then 'My Account' and updating the shipping address by clicking on the 'Edit' button found on the bottom right side of the page. NOTE: The address will not update until we manually refresh it in our database, but don't be alarmed. It will be updated so long as you followed the above steps.

The 'Features' page on the PSIO website has been updated to include new photos of the PCB housed inside your PSIO Cartridge.

Hi Matt,
I have one doubt, that i didnt understood on the manual.

Regarding the 60 character limit, this limit is for the final archive (BIN, CUE, etc) or the entire directory?
Examples:
\\SD\Crash_Bandicoot_NTSC-U\Crash_Bandicoot_NTSC-U.bin = 48 char
Crash_Bandicoot_NTSC-U.bin = 26 char

PS-IO considers 48 char or 26?

I know i'll receive it in September/October, but I am preparing my backups already xD

26 char. I don't think it counts the total directory string, though I should try that to make sure ;)

Hi Matt. Does this mean the PCBs have been received and we can expect pre-orders to start being fulfilled soon? Or was the PCB in the photo just a sample?

The photo was the initial sample run. There was a small problem with it which was that the SD Card connectors pins were not being soldered correctly, so to avoid that problem, I've increased the size of the solder pads and have ordered a second lot of samples. Once those arrive and they all work, the final order will be placed and then pre-orders will start to be fullfilled.

As an example, it's little things like this though that slow everything down which is why it's taken so long to get this far. The largest task of course being designing and creating the Parallel Port from scratch.

Thanks for the update. I wasn't aware that the board design was still being tweaked. That does explain the delay. Fingers crossed that the next batch of samples will be spot on. :)

It should be fine this time around. Everything else was working fine on it without any issues whatsoever :)

At the moment, I'm working on getting all the mainboards I have here installed with the Switch Board and sent off since they are extremely behind on schedule. Some upwards of 6+ months

As for other tasks, the PSIO firmware is being worked on so game compatibility gets higher. Currently we're focused on "Captain Commando" and the corrupt sprites in the first levels boss. This is a huge bug since it has something to do with the data loading logic. It doesn't just not work on PSIO however. It also fails on Sony's original CD-ROM emulator as well as several PC and Linux PSX emulators. Once fixed, it may get some other games working better such as "Jackie Chan: Stuntmaster" and maybe "Wipeout XL" & "Wipeout 2097".

News updates along the way as usual :)

It's still on the to-do list, along with full ATV register support (so games like "Bust a Groove" have the fade-out effect when you pause the game, and volume sliders in other games work properly with XA/CDDA tracks).
