The wait surely is! Also, as a note to everyone, I am sorry, but I'm a little bit behind on emails, so if you haven't got a reply yet from your question(s), I'll address them as soon as I can :)

Just out of pure curiosity, do you have a ETA on the pre-orders for November yet.
Thanks :)

I've been following this project for years now, but always seem to miss when preorders come up. Is there an alert system of any kind, or an email system I can subscribe to for when there's updates on the PS-IO?

No proper ETA for November yet, but I would assume July or August.

Email us your address and I will manually add it when the option comes up. The option is only available when we are out of stock/pre-order slots, but for now, it's still open so feel free to jump in on the pre-orders :)

How about for the June 2017 pre-orders?

Hi everyone,
I did the preorder today. Any ETA? I know it will take sometime, but I've mentally prepared myself xD

Once your order is tagged and processed, you'll receive an e-mail that will detail you on a waiting period. That should answer your question. Be patient- you're going to be waiting a bit. But I stress it is worth it. My PSIO bit the dust when my house was struck by lightening last fall- 5 months ago. Also took out my Saturn and Dreamcast. So I'm right there waiting with you.

The good thing is that while the time passes, the PSIO gets updates and the compability list will be 100%

That's a great thing to bring up while you wait. I was an early adopter and though compatibility was high- it was nothing near what it is even today. So I'm eager to get one of these again and give it a whirl. I have my SD card all loaded and ready to go with all the art, MULTIDISC.LST file's etc just ready to go. I suggest you do the same. Get you a good SanDisk branded 128GB card, load that f*cker up and get ready to have fun within 3-4 months time!!!

I plan to do my switch board install on a Japanese PU-8 board this Saturday in preparation for my June 17 order.

Good idea! I'll let everything prepared 8-) Got one Sandisk 200GB, I'll insert every hidden gem, every good game from my nostalgic PS1. For example, really want to play Valkyrie Profile, but with those prices... Even for me as PS1 collector, is really hard. And PSP emulator even today dont work with this game. Btw, if you know someone that tested this game with PS-IO...

Dude, do you have any guide for this cover art, multidisc and any other configuration?

Since then, I bought a new PlayStation and tried using the PSIO with that unit- swapped out a working switchboard and I'd just get a static-y black screen, even the SD card wouldn't recognize in my computer. After that, I proceeded to pitch it altogether. I did take steps to "finish" destroying the PSIO so no one could screw with it- though that probability was next to none. SOOOOOOOO- I've got nothing to send back. But that's fine- I secured a pre-order just a couple weeks ago when you opened them up. I had a Rhea and a USB GD-rom get zapped in that incident too. Those have been replaced since then (again). Moral of the story- Make sure your surge protector is still fully functional. I had no idea those had a finite life to begin with. That coupled with my apartments shitty wiring structure and it's no wonder my toys took a hit :x I appreciate the offer though Shadow Matt ;)

Get a small transformer based UPS so you have line isolation. It's saved my equipment several times since they have surge protection built-in too (well, they usually do, but be sure to check if you get one that it does).

Hi.

I pre-ordered in June of 2017.
But since then I've actually moved, hence I'd like to have my shipping address updated, is that possible?

It's not a huge problem, as I can still receive packages on the old address, it would just be easier to receive it here.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Mikkel Petersen.
