Thanks for these excellent updates! Is there any progress to report on moving the XA decoding from the ARM to the FPGA?

The injection moulding case samples have arrived! A few tweaks are required (nothing major), but apart from that, it's perfect. The quality of the plastic is extremely detailed and polished, and it's texture/colour matched to the original PlayStation 1 console. We are just now waiting on the parallel ports (the black 68-pin connector). Note that the parallel port shown below in the example photo is from an old Action Replay (it was de-soldered and re-soldered which is what we have been doing in the past which is why assembling PSIO was so painfully slow).

Pre-orders from June will be shipped soon (we hate changing deadlines, but hopefully it will now be by December!). The next step (as mentioned) is just getting the parallel ports made (which is currently in progress still which is why we're a little behind on the June pre-orders). We are working hard though to get these built so we can start mass producing and selling in huge volumes

We would like to thank you so much for your patience and support though, especially all the people who pre-ordered. It is immensely appreciated, and without you, none of this would be possible :praise

We are working on it slowly, but the main focus is getting game compatibility higher, exFAT support (greater than 32 GB SD Cards) and full ATV channel support (CDDA/XA cross-channel mixing and fading). The XA decoding quality will be fixed after we do these things because it works fine at the moment (not high priority) ;)

Can you do something for the covers that are in good square size in 50Hz but not in 60 ?
Yeah, I'll have to stretch them slightly under NTSC mode I guess.

Will we be able to buy these separately without the PSIO for people that already have a PSIO?

We can't because each cartridge has a serial number which matches, and the circuit board is a different size and shape so it won't even fit in the old ones.

Wait, so do you mean to say June orders will be shipped in December? My order was July 2nd, so I hope to be close enough to that batch.

The 'Parallel Port' injection moulding cast has been finished, and the first sample run will begin on the 25th of October.

I'm back in the saddle for testing, thanks to those who shall remain nameless. Going to have to get me a fancy textured injection molded PSIO when they are available!!!

Hello everyone. I sent an application about the problem in the game "Vampire Hunter D" on October 14th. I have also attached a link to the file, saved in one of many problem areas. But it still does not appear in the PSIO Game Compatibility list. I apologize if I made a mistake in English

We are just very busy at the moment with other things, but we will look into it soon. Currently we are working on a new firmware, so we will test it once we finish it.

Parallel Port injection moulding update. The samples will be sent to us next week, where we will verify the integrity of the connector. Once we have approved it, we will begin the initial production run. Afterwards, we will have all the parts required to assemble the pre-ordered units.

Following that, we will begin to sell PSIO to the public without any pre-orders as we will be able to have PSIO in stock and ready to go.

We appreciate your patience as always, but the end is now in sight :)
In the meantime, we have been working on the firmwares.
