You have to be quick to get in on it. Try again now.
If it still doesn't work, we are sold out.

New 'Switch Board Installation Guides' are in the works which will contain higher-resolution shots and more detailed narration to assist with a smoother installation experience.

How hard has it been to get this project off the ground, just as an in general question? Between getting PCB's finalized, labels made, male connector ports etc, it just seems like a metric shit-ton of patience has been required just from your end alone with the production process. And that's not even considering the work that went into writing the code, R&D from the initial stages--- the list could go on. :o I couldn't imagine starting a business like this especially with all the above taken to consideration. Hat's off to you and Yuri :praise

It's been very tough. PSIO was just a concept in 2010, but the real development and prototype came in 2012. From there, it's been a task of product improvement which includes everything you see up till today. If it wasn't for Yuri and myself constantly putting effort into PSIO, it would have failed years ago. Another big part is the supporters and all the customers who have patiently pre-ordered. Without them, we wouldn't be able to do this.

First post here. I have my PSIO since one of the first batches but just recently I'm putting it back to use.

Can I ask about fixing the sound with Symphony of the Night? I see it as a bug reported but is there any ETA on this?

Also, I know this has been asked on the feature request thread but I just would like to ask if this is actually possible. Can Game Shark codes be possible via PSIO? I believe this a most wanted feature since many games now are receiving widescreen codes and many people are using their PSX with PSIO hooked to a XRGB Framemeister / OSSC.
Having this combo with real hardware, a discless solution like PSIO and widescreen with a nice upscaler like the OSSC is just a killer. Could you please, kindly consider my plea on this? :)

The XA sampling quality issue is being worked on, but it's a slow process. At the moment, we're focused on getting compatibility high and then we'll give complete focus on the other tasks to perfect PSIO.

As for adding GameShark codes, we can look into it, but it won't be until after we get the XA quality issue sorted :)

Yes! Finally we have reached the end after a ridiculous amount of development. We can't thank everyone enough for their patience.

Yes, the Switch Board installs on the mainboards is still going. We actually have most of them finished. I just need to test them and process them with DHL for shipment which I will get around to next week. We've just been so flat out with PSIO that we didn't focus on the mainboards unfortunately, but now that everything is pretty much ready to go with PSIO, I will get all the boards finished off also next week while the completed ones are shipped :)

So since I'm a june batch, that means I'll get both at the same time.... You just made my day, bless you holy man.

I will have real fine day drinking beers and playing on the PSIO all day when it arrives. I also have the component cables from hd retrovision for maximum pixel glory.

Cheers!

Yes, you'll get both at the same time ;)

Haha, I do the same whenever my mates come over too. It's awesome. You don't have to worry about your original CD-ROM's getting cracked or scratched, or, if your system was modchipped, the game freezing up on you from a worn out laser system. You just drink, have fun, relax and enjoy playing the games how they were meant to be played without worrying about that side of things :)

Should I install a mod chip also or will the ps-io take care of that? Just thinking as a temporary workaround burning the wipeout games until compatibility is working

Install a mod-chip. Get the Mayumi V4. PSIO will not act as a mod-chip.
