  |~[Recent Changes from 1.8->1.9]~|
  ===================================
  - Fixed a bug in the quick sort routines where if more than 512 items were
    placed in the root of the SD Card and if it was re-inserted, the PlayStation
    would crash.

  - Fixed a bug in the "SYSTEM.CNF" parser routines where if no CNF sheet was
    defined, the Menu System would default to "CDROM:\PSX.EXE". However, the libs
    do not like using uppercase I/O names which would cause the actual executation
    to fail. It has now been changed to "cdrom:\PSX.EXE" which has solved this issue.

  - A warning now displays if no audio track is selected on the PSIO setup screen.
    This is to enusure that the user didn't make a mistake in the setup process.

  - When selecting an audio track to play during the setup process of PSIO, the
    audio track currently playing will now flicker to avoid confusion as per what
    track is actually currently being played.

Updating now.

Edit: no audio issues with diablo so far, i am very happy with this fix. I will play around with a few things and test some other games that had audio issues before.

I updated to the latest versions and I am getting a "High Fragmentation" error now in the very first game on the SD that was working fine (32GB , castlevania SOTN is the game - win7 reports 0% fragmented). It's not like I add/remove stuff all the time, I wrote my ~44 games in 2 sessions... no way they are fragmented.

I'll try and re-write them I guess... :lol:

Mine is stock, the opening of other games without starting them seems to fix it, till you restart.

I will try that now, sadly i will have to wait beyond forty minutes till i can see if it work's. SDcards have slow transfer speeds and mine is a class ten.

Edit: at about 8:30PM est time the re-transfer of files will be done and i can test to see if that fixed fragmentation on castlevania SOTN.

While the webpages are down, you can still download the actual update files.

Menu System v1.9

ARM Firmware v2.4

Hope this helps in the meantime :)

Strange. Don't know why the site went down... I'll check the logs and reset it now.

Haha, nothing but a little digging with google cache and guessing filenames couldn't fix :D

Also, in regards to using the english patched version of Castlevania SotN (Akumajou Dracula X - Gekka no Yasoukyoku) - If you are using the Redump collection, be sure to apply the PPF patch to the "v1.2" dump. I know, I know... the docs for the patch specifically say it only works with 1.0 .. well, that's a load of bollocks!

I tested all 3 dumps of the japanese discs (v1.0, v1.1, and v1.2) with both ePSXe and the PSIO.. applying the PPF patch to v1.0 and 1.1 resulted in ePSXe crashing after the english patch credits/ebay screens, and on the PSIO it just locks up with a black screen and no further disc activity.

However, applying the patch to the v1.2 dump works perfectly fine in both ePSXe and PSIO. Hope that helps!
