I completely understand the no promises standpoint. That said, 32GB is going to fill up very quickly and I doubt I would be alone in greatly appreciating a larger capacity.

Can one of the dev comment on multi-bin support? Redump is one of the most accurate psx image set available and they use multi-bin. Converting cue take a certain time and it is a pain to try out new game. Re downloading over 500gb of data to get a set that use single bin is also a huge pain. Is multi-bin support going to be looked at? Or is there any technical reason why multi-bin can't be supported directly by PSIO?

it's just not simple feature, we need more time, more tests. it's similar to multi-disc support, as it works in same way, to open mutliply files.
if there is more request from PSIO owners, i can try. but no promises.

Don't know if it's asked before... Since PSIO is capable of handling CDDA audio maybe it's possible for those who have a SCPH-100* serie with those DAC audio encoders to support Audio CDs? Like create a *.bin image from your audio cd and then with a cu2 or cue file you can load them?
Legends may sleep but they will never die!

That should be possible, though I have not tried myself yet.
I'll put it on the 'to do' list and if it's possible, I'll add it to the "Systems Manual".

I just wanted to chime in and say I would also make use of this feature.

just multi disc, Parasite Eve sadly does not save before swaps and it would be nice to play it on psio.

How about supporting a controler parallel (e.g. to a GunCon) on the 2nd port?
And the NeGcon (twist controler)? :praise

The only multi disc games relevant for me I can think of atm are "Colony Wars" and "Policenauts".
AFAIK both could be played by saving and rebooting the other bin/iso image though.

I am unable to switch save bank on my favorite memory card (4 save bank without using compression) once PSIO have launched a game. Usually, I press L1+R1 and it changed save bank but as soon as I launch a game with PSIO, the memory card no longer switch pages. Could you guys maybe look into why it does this?

As of Menu System V1.8, Guncon is working in Port 1. Port 2 is completely disabled for everything.

I don't have the NAMCO Twist controller, so I can't program it in. If you send it to me, I can do that.
Otherwise, I'll try to find one on eBay or something when I feel like getting around to it as it is not a priority at the moment.

They are probably using the K1 register to save that logic into and run it during every interrupt.
Try setting XA/CDDA to Off. That should solve it, but you will loose XA/CDDA audio.
My suggestion is to use a standard and official Sony Memory Card.

Is "PSIO OS" open source already?
Does PSIO have a plugin system?
The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.

No. Any part of PSIO is not open source, nor will it ever be.
By plugin, if you mean C libs so that you may access certain low levels functions from PSIO, then yes.

I have a cheap 16x memory card with LED display and I also can't switch bank when PSIO is running a game. A quick workaround is to remove PSIO SD card, power on the system, set the memory bank to desired # and leave it there for the rest of the game session. If you needed to change bank mid-game, you're probably better off using regular 1x memory cards and swapping those.

Totally agree with this, as I have the Jp/us/pal collections and most certainly do not want to download single bin images at all just for PSIO. I appreciate the device and the devs who developed it, yet not having multi-bin support is not a selling point for me.

Please implement this at some point, if possible . Thanks

If I understand correctly you can load multi disc games from your pc using the usb. Would it be possible to do the same with multi bin games?? If not would it be easier to implement from the pc. Im fine with that kind of work around.
