Installation question (PU-18)

Post by pskelly » April 6th, 2017, 4:19 am

Hi am getting ready to install the switchboard on my PS1 which has a PU-18 board in it. looking at the pictures supplied with the install guide it shows a little 100nF capacitor installed on the switchboard but it doesn't mention it in the install guide itself. Is this needed and or suggested?

Thanks in advance,

Patrick

It's an old picture. I didn't have any 0603 capacitors on hand when I hand soldered that board, so I used a though-hole capacitor instead. The Switch Board you're supplied with has the correct 0603 capacitor installed already, so don't worry about it :)

I'll update the pictures soon when I have free time.
