I can't exactly pinpoint an exact month, but I'll be pushing for hopefully before August because we're going to start injection moulding for mass production.

To whoever doesn't have a PSIO but wants one- the wait is more than worth it. Besides, by the time you get it- compatibility (which is phenomenal right now) should be greatly improved :)

I'm processing them now. If you were the first to order, you'll be notified quicker than the others.

No idea how fast I was, my order is #2041
At any rate just to be clear, I am not complaining - just being curious. I understand there is a delay and I don't have an issue with it. Thanks! :praise

My order is #1898 and it is currently processing for shipment, if that helps.

#1898 was one of the first to order, so yes, it's been updated :)
#2041 is much later so it'll be done soon.

However, all the cartridges are ready to go. It just takes a lot of time to manually setup all the shipping data. I'm the only one doing it, so please bare with me as I get though them. I can't make any mistakes or else cartridges will go to the wrong addresses :P

I'll have to look into coding up a plugin of some sort or a PHP script which does some trickery to the database elements and makes a CSV file for me to import into DHL's website.

No problem. I'm quite behind on the email support at the moment because I'm just focused on the cartridges :)

Hi,
I am order #1982 so I assume I am getting up there on the list. I was curious as to if it would be possible to order a switch board kit and have it shipped at the same time as my cart? They were sold out at the time I ordered the cart so I couldn't put them on the same order.

Thanks in advance for your help and all your hard work! :-)

Hi. Unfortunately we ship them separately. It's just how our logistics work at the moment, but we will change it so you can actually combine shipments on the next batch (I'm in the process of writing a plugin for our website to help me make the logistics easier).

got my PS-IO today, installed the switchboard to my PU-22 mobo and it's brilliant! I only tested 3 games so far but I am really impressed, gone are the CDs :)
great stuff!

Why does everyone put a hyphen in the word PSIO? Only the website URL is like that because PSIO.COM is taken, and I lost PSIO.COM.AU because at the time I didn't have an ABN to keep it registered under the new law introduced at that time in Australia. Everything else doesn't have it. It's really strange... :P

Anyway, it's good to hear the positive feedback :)
More features for PSIO will come in the future as we develop them (EG: Memory Card Manager), which makes it even better ;)

heh yeah, now that you mention it there is no hyphen... it's because of the website name I use the hyphen :D
TBH I was so excited to finally get the cartridge that I installed the switch board like this:

... and I was wondering for ~10mins why the PSIO did not load

I really like the menu, the previews, the BGM, the whole look of it it's just perfect. It shows lots of consideration and love for the project, kudos!

Haha yup, that would be your problem right there :P

That's the idea! A lot of effort has gone into the Menu System and I'm still not done with it yet... ;)

The next step is to add the 3D controller I was working on during the setup process so you know what each button does. There is the Memory Card system I want to incorporate, and I also want to add a pop-up on screen keyboard where you can enter your name so the scroller/ticker at the bottom of the screen says "Hello <insert_name_here>". I'm also working on a new startup video. The old one is okay, but it can be better. I'd have to personally say that the PSIO Menu System is far more detailed and polished than any other flash cart/development cart on the market which is what I was going for. You should always feel like the product you've bought is well designed, has plenty of options to change (to a certain degree), is detailed, has had the effort put in and shows that as pure quality for the amount of money you have paid.

So far PSIO hasn't disappointed anyone. From the point when they open the white shipping box with the Cybdyn logo, to the stage where they finish soldering in the Switch Board and boot up PSIO, they are amazed at the quality and effort put in. We have also not had a single cartridge fail yet, which means our production and testing is extremely reliable.

It's good to always receive feedback, so thank you Keropi. If you do have any problems whatsoever with PSIO, just let us know and we'll sort you out. We always do :)

Indeed, I own several flashcarts and the most advanced of them was the SD2SNES (and maybe ED64) in terms of menu, PSIO is on another level though.
I can understand though that 8/16bit carts can't always have fancy stuff but I also have a usb-gdrom for the DC. I don't mind the text-only interface (since I grew up at the DOS era) but I know DC can do more. PSIO menu is just on another level, there is no comparison .
I can't wait to see what the future brings!
