Me neither. Works flawlessly, even the audio (K1V1, no fastboot). NTSC-U version, with and without the harder mode patch.

Also, tested the following yesterday for like 5 minutes each, all booted and started fine:

Soukaigi (Japanese)
Umihara Kawase (Japanese - played without CU2)
LSD: Dream Simulator (Japanese)
Omega Boost (USA ver)

Ace Combat 3 - Japanese version, but patched into English with Romhacking.net patch. This is great news, since the US/EU version was butchered to hell!

Still kinda bummed about Arc the Lad and King's Field not working (checked my versions, both crash). :(

Yeah, I'm not getting any problems with testing the NTSC ReDump version so far today but, I had the same problems as temper with the translated Japanese patched version. I'm going to wipe my SD card and re-transfer everything back over to eliminate any fragmentation problems and then try again.

Actually I am using PSIO on a PU-22.
I will try later today with a PU-18 board, but have to install the Switch-Board first :P

I just looked at the new page for a few minutes. The "Done Issues" link takes you to a page where you can see users' real names and email addresses. I think that should be changed so the information stays private.

Yesterday I tried SOTN for new, but on a PU-18 this time.
Played for around 3 hours without any freezing.

So there must be some kind of problem with my PU-22 installation.

Parasite Eve 2 does not work yet. It is currently being looked into. A new firmware is hopefully to be released after the New Year sometime though no specific time has been given yet. It is hoped that the new firmware will fix issues like that seen in Parasite Eve 2, Final Fantasy VIII etc. You can follow progress and notes on bug reports here.

From my understanding of how FPGA's work with things like PSIO, GDEMU, RHEA etc- The CD-ROM (ie: How shit works internally) logic is not emulated, it is simulated. Though similar in terminology, they are different technically speaking. (Matt- correct me if I'm wrong.)

I was trying Parasite Eve 2 last night for 3 hours trying to figure out what's going on with it. I've since update the log in the JIRA database which can be read publicly. It just keeps on freezing, and it's something to do with the ARM logics timing, which should be fixed next year in the newly coded firmware.

A few minuts testing the new firmware update...

Rayman now seems to work fine for me.

Audio skip in Diablo/Chrono Cross intro now is more accentuated.

So far so good on my end. It seems with this new firmware- games that hiccuped or skipped do it more so which leads me to believe the CD-ROM streaming/ buffering is a key issue throughout most of the games that have already given issues. Having the Fear Effects work is a great step in the right direction as the backgrounds for each scene is like a mini-FMV that loops. Glad to hear Rayman works. I've got it on my Rhea for my Sega Saturn so I'm happy with that version more than it's PS1 counterpart. With a new ARM Logic firmware that's being created from the ground up slated to release first-quarter next year- this hopefully will ease the errors and skipping especially with the SquareSoft titles that seem so problematic. Luckily though Einhander, Parasite Eve, FF7 and FF Tactics work great. I'm most thrilled with that for the time being. This new firmware was certainly unexpected on my end but a very pleasant surprise none the less.

Command and conquer has a pretty game breaking bug, give me a bit of time i want to get it on video. I am very surprised i caught it, the game slows down and the music track ends while you can not move the mouse cursor beyond a small invisible barrier.

I think for the time being I'm going to slow down on my testing as a new ARM firmware is being coded from the ground-up. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on that to see how dramatically different things will be affected for better or for worse. By all means PM me with games that are broken so I can update the list as such. So far from the games working list I posted a while back- the titles I posted beginning with A, B, C, E, F are working as they always did. Still have quite a bit but so far so good.

I am having a hard time recreating the slowdown and barrier bug, ill try again later today.

Edit: wasn't the last update the last one before the new arm from the ground up?
