I like being one the early adopters of things like this because I get to see it's progress from beginning to end. All of my old systems have an SD card loading interface. NES, SNES, Gamecube, N64, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS1 and PS2 :dance Screw paying price gougers online and in the 2nd hand stores. As for HD systems- they can remake all the games they like- playing with pixelated shitty graphics on original hardware is the way to go!!!!

same here, using EverDrive for NES, SNES, Genesis and N64, Swiss for GC, GDEMU for DC, Reha for Saturn, and hard disk with Lan card for PS2 fat version

The GDEMU is not too bad, but we're working on something better ;)
Hopefully this year once PSIO is settled we'll finish it off: http://dc-io.com/

I had the GDEMU and it's pretty damn cool- but then I got the USB GD-ROM and I ultimately prefer it over GDEMU. Either way- I get to play the games so it doesn't matter the method in the end. Screw discs.

Yeah but for the amount you're paying the user interface and how the system actually works should be much nicer. Don't get me wrong, it's good and all, but for that price it's a little bit withheld.

USB GD-ROM is rather pricey- and honestly, I believe it's just because the guy can simply do it as for the time being, Dreamcast drive replacements are rather niche and much of a confined market. That's where you guys will eventually come in... ;)

I made a prototype video demonstrating DCIO as well as the Menu System, but I can't release it because others might copy our method of implementation. I can say that we will be doing a Hard Disk Drive and SD Card add-on however, and it will be a very neat and concise design for the Dreamcast :)
