Most likely one of my JRPG's.. Xenogears or Chrono Cross perhaps.
Both amazing, but I find Xenogears harder to get back to, the battle gameplay and dungeons were a little clunky IMO.

Xenogears is possibly the only square game that deserves a remaster, with the CD2 redone to complete the story.

Re: Are only PSIO units on backorder, or even the Switch Boards or install service? Switch Board revisions planned?

I think you're overthinking things? I don't think the switchboard will ever change. Even if it did change, you'd still be able to use old ones with the PSIO, but again, I don't see any scenario in which they needed to change, really. The shortage is only for the PSIO carts for now, AFAIK, I purchase...

Re: First game you will play?

I organized my ISO collection in my SD card so I can just pop it in and play instantly Just make sure that you have the same version of the Menu System on each and every card or it will complain that it's either missing, or you have an incompatible version ;) Huh? I didn't get that. I only have a s...

First game you will play?

Hello Fellow PSIO users! Anxiously waiting on my PSIO to arrive (stupid DHL hehehe), I organized my ISO collection in my SD card so I can just pop it in and play instantly. What is the first game that you want to try? I was thinking of playing Brightis, because it was supposedly the last game design...

Re: Libcrypt games list

Spyro 2 and 3 have some annoying patches with hacker intros and trainers. In theory, would it be too complex to have a stealth system like mod chips had, built-in on the PSIO to avoid having to patch these games? I kind of hate those hacker intros. Alternatively, 2 of my 3 switch board ready playsta...

Hmm. Not really, but the SCPH-1000 (PU-7 or PU-8) is the easiest I reckon because instead of doing a final trace cut, you can lift a resistor.
Also, the word goes on forums that the SCPH-1000 has the better sound of all the revisions.

Re: Libcrypt games list

I'm thinking of adding LibCrypt detection to the Menu System at some point, so it warns you that the game you're attempting to load may have it and it may require a patch. Just making life easier :) OMG that would be so awesome! Also, I hear some libcrypt or antimod can be avoided with PAR codes. I...

Libcrypt games list

Hello Everyone, On the eve of waiting for my june2017 batch PSIO to arrive (stupid DHL won't post updates, hehe  ), I realized that I was missing libcrypt game patching on my 200+ iso filled SD card so I made this list of all the known libcrypt games I could find. I'm sharing this list with who...

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread

Hi new here! Just wondering if the orders are closed at the moment? I would like to order a PSIO but I keep getting a error message? Thanks. Hi. Yes, the orders are closed at the moment. If you sign up with your email (which can be done on the PSIO Cartridge 'Store' page itself near the bottom), we...

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread

Here's a small treat for everyone. This is how we used to make the plastic shells/cases for PSIO prior to injection moulding. The process was extremely time consuming and very labour intensive. Obviously this method is no longer used, but I thought some might enjoy seeing how the CNC machine operat...

Yes, you'll get both at the same time ;) Haha, I do the same whenever my mates come over too. It's awesome. You don't have to worry about your original CD-ROM's getting cracked or scratched, or, if your system was modchipped, the game freezing up on you from a worn out laser system. You just drink,...

Re: Why a cartridge solution?

The price is well justified (even though some people think it's expensive, it's not when compared to other flash carts on the market). Sorry to bump an old thread. I can't sleep so I was browsing the forum for fun. Whomever thinks the PSIO is expensive is a cheapstake. 150AUD equals 112 US dollars,...
