Re: How to change the background PSIO music?

At the moment, that's not possible, but it's on the 'to do' list.

Re: Best way to use cheat codes via PSIO

The better solution would be that we made our own Game Shark system within PSIO, but it's not easy.

PSIO won't swap discs unless a MULTIDISC.LST file exists and contains the correct information of where PSIO can locate the disc images.

Re: Best way to use cheat codes via PSIO

Ah, yes, "Breath of Fire" will always be loaded first. What you'll have to do is re-insert the SD Card twice in order to advance to the next disc in the list :)

Yes, you can select the disc you want in as of Menu System V2.5.0.

Re: Best way to use cheat codes via PSIO

You need to make a MULTIDISC.LST file to swap between the Xploder CD and game ISO on the SD Card. When using a standard CD-ROM however, just boot the Xploder CD from the Menu System and then swap when it asks you to do so.

Unfortunately we don't support ISO patching at the moment.

Re: Moving the switch board from JP PS1 to PAL PS1?

Yes, but the old Japanese SCPH-1000 won't work unless you repair the cut traces obviously.

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread

Hmm. It's hard to fix those issues because we need the Memory Card save so we can try it ourselves. I'll try to get the 'Memory Card Manager' finished off so we can give customers the ability to at least copy their saved data and send it to us.

Re: Saturn Satiator!

Hi. Sorry for the late reply to this thread, but we did get an email from 'Professor Abrasive' a few weeks ago. I haven't replied to it yet though since we've been flat out with PSIO, but I don't think we'll be able to help him as we're simply flat out on our own at the moment and don't have time to...

Re: Rayman PAL/NTSC

Rayman [PAL] seems to be working fine now from PSIO (booting it via the Menu System) in ARM 2.5.0, FPGA DB12 and Menu System 2.5.1. The version I used was even the EDC copy. However, when booting from the CD-ROM via the Menu System, it still does indeed corrupt the 'Ubisoft' logo. The game then free...

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread

Adidas Power Soccer PAL is still freezing at the first loading screen... Confirmed. It's a Psygnosis game, so it's doing something naughty with the hardware. Probably the same issue why Wipeout doesn't work. Do you remember if this ever used to work on previous firmwares? Also, can you submit it he...

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread

Just curious, I haven't tested all the settings etc., but is anyone else having problems with games not working since the update? My WipeOut XL freezes on the race load screen like it used to, except it freezes earlier now. Looks like it freezes on the loading screen at "0.17%" no matter what XA/CD...

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread

We'll take another look at Wipeout and the other game issues later. At the moment, I'm working flat out on this Fastboot issue. I've managed to finally find the reason why 'Disruptor' and 'Lifeforce TENKA' freezes. Something strange happening in the VSync routines which is handled though the control...

There's a memory card feature coming?! Writing save files to the SD card instead of the memory card?

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread

Ah, my mistake. You have to actually hold [START] + [SELECT] whilst the Menu System is booting to reset all the settings. Once it says they've been reset and it asks you for the video mode selection, just power off your PSX, remove the USB cable and try to boot from the SD Card again. You'll of cour...
