Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread

I found having my sd cards formatted to 1024 block size was the only way to get a lot of things working and I’ve not had any issues with the first update from yesterday that a lot of people were getting freezes, and no problems with today’s update

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread

Loving the new update! Loaded up Wipeout XL and brought back some really great nostalgia from my senior year of high school! Can we all agree that the games released from September 1 through November 30 1996 were some of the best games ever made? Tomb Raider, Tekken 2, Twisted Metal 2, Crash Bandico...

Re: Newly added games containing a CU2 file freezes PSIO

They were all exfat formatted except the 32gb card. I tried default, 128, 256, 2048, and then someone on facebook suggested 1024.

Re: Newly added games containing a CU2 file freezes PSIO

I was using sandisk cards. One was a sandisk 400gb (the one everyone has been buying up on black Friday sale), and the other was a sandisk extreme pro 256gb. I also used a transcend 32gb card with similar results. If its any difference I am using a launch model psx 1001 with a pu-8 board

Re: Newly added games containing a CU2 file freezes PSIO

I fixed it by formatting the cards to 1024 cluster size. It was the only way to get the psconsole made ones to work when the damon tools merged ones and single bin worked regardless of cluster size on the card. Very impressed with your work on this so far.

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread

I found that if I don't use the psio console to merge the bins, and instead use daemon tools and imgburn they do load. So my issue is in the console software. Ive noticed when compiling through the console software they aren't being merged in the correct order. It will start with say track thirteen,...

Code: Select all

Menu System Changes:
   - [Bug Fix] CU2 sheets are now detected again.
   - [Bug Fix] Fixed a bug where some Multi-Disc titles wouldn't boot and the PlayStation would enter an infinite loop.

Will this fix my issue with CU2 games not loading?

Hey guys, im beating my head against a wall here. I have used the psio console software to convert my multibin files to CU2 and single bin, but they are just not opening on my ps-io no matter what game I pick it just freezes the menu for 30 seconds. My folder only contains 3 files, the cu2, the merg...

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread

Should I install a mod chip also or will the ps-io take care of that? Just thinking as a temporary workaround burning the wipeout games until compatibility is working

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread

Any work on 512gb SD cards working? It would be really awesome if there was a way to hook up a usb hard drive with a couple terabytes to it as well but ill settle for a couple of 256 cards
