Re: Installation video for Switch Board ?

How about a Win32 application that guides you though it like a PowerPoint presentation? http://www.psxdev.net/forum/download/file.php?mode=view&id=1091&sid=df3b54f7135c651c793f2c5cea55aebf http://www.psxdev.net/forum/download/file.php?mode=view&id=1092&sid=df3b54f7135c651c793f2c5cea55aebf This look...

Re: Bug in credits video found!

Okay, I found the issue and it should now be solved in the next menu update (V1.3). I found it only happened in NTSC mode due to an invalid frame ending count in which the PSX would hang for about a minute until it eventually timed out and returned back to the Menu System. It should never give erro...

Re: PU-18 Switch board install help

Just as a heads up, that on my board when reflowing the pins, there was this weird old flux residue or lacquer that was on the pins so I made sure to remove all old solder and completely reflow the pins because just reflowing the old solder burned whatever was on there and just made a mess. Doing t...

Re: Weird boot failure when I add new titles to SD Card

I had a similar problem (psx stuck on sony logo) and it was caused by a faulty parallel port (but in my case it happened with the PSIO attached). Check with shadow your switchboard installation, maybe the motherboard is corrupted? :shrug

Re: Question regarding Bust A Groove sync issues

I remember there was a region boot patcher, converting ISO images NTSC <> PAL. Try google it, I don't know if it could work!

Re: Windows 10?

I really detest Windows 10. I reverted back to 7 and that's where I'm staying. It seems every other version of Windows sucks. I loved XP- Vista sucked, love W7, 10 sucks etc. You could use 8.1, having an outdated OS is risky for your security. What I can say is that I haven't resolved the issue, ev...

Re: Create CU2 with only cue sheet

I would also really like a solution for this. There must be a way to generate a CU2 from the BIN CUE that I have? Many games use CDDA tracks, I had a similar issue with Tekken 3 here http://www.psxdev.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=937&start=80#p10178, after adding the CU2 file I solved the issues....

Re: Game testing group

Strange. Tekken 3 has always worked fine for me, but I use the NTSC version since it runs at the right speed and is full screen. I'll check it out when I can. As for everything else, please submit them as a problem on the PSIO website. Hi Shadow, tested again on both NTSC-J and PAL version, with tw...

Re: Problem with multidisc.lst created from GNU/Linux (gedit

Just tried and it doesn't work. Tried on another SD card too, the PSIO menu still freezes after few seconds after launch. Any thoughts? Have you updated the ARM and FPGA Firmware to the latest versions? Thanks Shadow, I didn't realize I was still on 2.2.228 version of the ARM firmware. Now it works...

Bug in credits video found!

After watching the credits video, my PSIO remains stuck for nearly a minute, then when it goes back to the main menu, is gives error 80000005 (no folders found in SD). After turning the console off and back on, it goes back to normal. It's not a big deal but I wanted to report it anyway ;) Here is a...

Re: Problem with multidisc.lst created from GNU/Linux (gedit

Thanks guys, but I still have the same issue. I'll try to explain what I do step by step: 1) open Notepad or Notepad++ on Windows 2) write down game1.BIN 3) press CTRL-M and write down game2.BIN 4) without creating a third line, I save the file as MULTIDISC.LST (ANSI encoding) Tried both with Window...

Re: Game testing group

Reporting some weird issues with a one of my favourite games: Tekken 3 (PAL version) 1) if I lose a fight, at the "continue" screen, my controller stops working, I have to disconnect and reconnect the controller to make it work again - the game does not freeze 2) this happened with Hwoarang characte...
