Re: Supported SD Cards

It's possible. Some prep is required however like removing junk data from the images.

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread

turn it to "Off" and report the issue only it needs to be "Off". Sorry, what does this mean? There's 4 options for CDDA/XA modes. K1V1, K1V2, K1V3 and Off. If the game works with V1/2/3, then that's all it needed. If none of the options works and the game only works when it's set to Off, then that ...

Re: Menu feature request concerning multi-disc games

Short Version: In the PSIO main menu if you select a game with multiple discs, have an option to select which disc you want to load initially. Long Version: Currently my understanding of multidisc games is you will create a folder such as "Final Fantasy 9", then put all the disc images in it, then ...

Re: AR/Genie codes

Not directly. You'll need to make use of the multidisc feature (Section 6-6 in the Systems manual) to load an ISO of the cheat disc, select your cheats. Eject and reinsert your SD card to "swap discs" of the game ISO and you have your cheats that way.

Re: Converting MULTI-BIN/ CUE games to single BIN/ CUE

If you get disc read errors on games like Megaman Legends when you're rebuilding images, it's sub channel doing that. You can "usually" ignore that. Alchohol 120% let's you skip it and it works fine.

Re: [SOLVED] PSIO does not see all the games in the SD card

Well that is weird. Because I use an Anker AR200 as well and didn't have issues.

Only thing else I can guess is the language difference between English and Italian and their respective keyboard layouts?

Re: [SOLVED] PSIO does not see all the games in the SD card

Then it's your setup. Something on your machine within Windows is not working as intended. What are you using to connect your SD card to your computer? Do you have an alternate device to use?

Re: [SOLVED] PSIO does not see all the games in the SD card

For the record, I did my formatting on Windows 10 Pro as that's my current machine. 10.0.10586 Build 10586 Granted builds may have changed since I've initially done it. Edit: I want to ask a silly question. These ISO's don't have some permission thing on them from your computer do they? Not sure if...

Re: [SOLVED] PSIO does not see all the games in the SD card

Might be worth noting to future incidents to use tools like SDFormatter or GUIFormat to properly format SD cards. Operating system format tools are usually not great.

Re: Visual artifacts on multiple games

Does the PAL version of Fear Effect 2 do this? I'd compare against that first before claiming it's the PSIO. You're also using a XRGB Mini which can also affect things on the video side. The top screen shaking with Biohazard tells me that's a video sync problem. Edit: My NTSC PS1 running NTSC Fear E...

Re: Finally ordered my PSIO !

I just missed out. Any ideas when more PSIO cartridges become available? Yeah I just got one too, surprised that it wasn't sold out yet. Perhaps because it's not March yet in some time zones (it's not for me, lucky I checked anyway). Or is this batch much bigger than the previous ones? As for cheat...

Re: Odd little issue with PSIO. Bug?

For some reason I cannot get Parasite Eve to load the second disc. This is Parasite Eve 1, not the sequel. I know my LST file is appropriate. Could there be something else I'm doing wrong? I tried Metal Gear Solid- and it works great so I know that I'm creating LST files correctly. Tested it on my ...

Re: Supported SD Cards

ok just saying psio does not support sdxc, it may work for you but the reader on psio is SDHC. Yes because SDXC cards are formatted in exFAT from the factory. It's a proprietary format that Microsoft owns the license to that takes advantages of features it was created specifically for it and can on...

The card works fine after formatting it to FAT32 like it says in my post duder.

YMMV of course, but for me it's fine.

Re: Supported SD Cards

The card I posted above still works. I suspect since you said "good seller" that may not be from Amazon directly, you may have received a bootleg which happens a lot.
