It was to compensate for the PAL and NTSC screen height differences.

Re: Assorted PSIO BMP ARTWORK for download!!!

Woo thanks all! Curious why the art is 80x84 when the normal art for PSX covers are not this ratio? (therefore using batch scripts to convert existing art is going to give you oblong stretched art) I guess it doesn't really matter though since they're being shrunk down so much it's going to be disto...

Re: CDDA XA Games list?

I may have been confused haha - likely. On the linked CDDA list it says some games have CDDA audio but only one track file. But I wasn't confusing the bin and track files =D Turns out though that I had no games on the CDDA list that I had not already created CU2 files for (because they had multiple ...

Re: CDDA XA Games list?

Okay is there a list of CDDA games? Lol - sorry still learning all this. I read the systems manual way back when it came out, and I just read it again but sometimes my brain doesn't retain all the data. I just spent multiple days backing up games and getting a list of only the games I want on my SD ...

CDDA XA Games list?

Is there a list of games that require CU2 files (that use CDDA/XA audio)

I googled it and searched around but can't find it. I already made CU2 for my multi track and multi disc games, but need to finish it off with the XA audio games.

Re: Waiting for your Mainboard (delivered weeks ago)

Ah okay - I was confused lol. The Mainboard email came a couple weeks ago so I was not sure if it had shipped or maybe you saved it to ship together with the PSIO.

Thanks again I will check back Monday. You guys rock man so proud to have been a part of it all!

Re: Waiting for your Mainboard (delivered weeks ago)

Matt thanks - sorry it took so long for me to reply I kept getting sidetracked. I see my Mainboard and PSIO have both shown preparing for shipment now. I don't know how to track though are there tracking numbers that get added to the My Account page? Thanks for all the hard work man you guys rock. #...

Re: PS-IO March 2018 Pre-Orders

Yeah I was confused on all that too..I'm way back in the December 2017 batch but the previously expected dates have passed. Just being patient as always though - my modified main board just shipped so there's that :)

Re: CU2 Files- NTSC-U Games (Revised w/ links)

How can I tell which games require CU2? I noticed most of my games are actually single bin/cue but there are a few multi bin..is it only the multi bin that need the CU2?

Re: CU2 Files- NTSC-U Games (Revised w/ links)

I've been away for quite awhile - but now that shipments are headed out and I have just mailed off my board I am preparing all my files. I had previous used Systems Console to fix all my games but I guess I deleted them since the PSIO was so far off. So my question is this still required, or has any...

Re: Official PSIO News and Development Thread

Is there an estimation on ship dates for Dec orders? I lurk here and don't bother as I know i twill be here when it will be here, but now that it is closing in I am just asking because I will need to send my board in for modification so I'd like to do that before the unit comes :) You guys rock thou...

It's been pushed back.
Was there some kind of delay or issue? My pre order is only from December so I know I have a ways to go..but just curious.

This place is mostly a ghost town so it's hard to really know what is happening aside from occasional posts here or there.

Keep up the great work.

Re: Feature Requests

You were right it complains if you try to convert the single bins..but those should still play without needing conversion right? I converted the rest using batch (except a few that I guess the filenames were too long) Well...all that done...and I don't even have a PSIO..but maybe some day..lol. Than...

Re: Feature Requests

Multi-BIN isn't supported. You have to convert them using the 'Systems Console' program we wrote for Windows to convert multi-BIN images into a single-BIN which will also then generate the correct CU2 sheet for you automatically. I see that in the downloads now, seems easy enough with the built in ...

Re: Feature Requests

So are those Multi Bin files still not supported? I have been following PSIO but I don't read constantly because it makes me impatient..lol.

Is it that you have to use CU2 files to run multi bin games still?
